While restaurateurs in Texas have been able to choose their power provider since 2002, their choices today are more complicated than ever before.  Additionally, the daily managerial demands placed on restaurateurs takes center stage and are often the focus of owners and general managers.  While this is understandably the focus of those responsible for providing a high quality product it also has caused an important issue and cost, like electricity spend, to take a back seat to other more immediate issues.  This presentation will focus on the importance of being proactive around energy costs and will discuss some of the industry’s best practices for procuring and managing energy spend.
